DETENTION OFFICER

• Civilian entry level position
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work any shift assigned

 

Responsible for maintaining safety and security inside of the detention center:

• Inmate headcount
• Inmate searches
• Emergency response
• Escort inmates
• Inmate transport

 

Previous military or corrections experience is helpful; complete training is provided by a qualified Field Training Officer.

Starting salary:  $52,335.92 yearly plus uniform allowance and benefits.
