Transportation Unit
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office Transportation Unit is responsible for the care, custody and control of offenders while transporting them between detention facilities, correctional facilities and court appearances while maintaining the highest regard for the safety of the public, the transporting deputies, and the prisoner(s).
