The Clay County Sheriff's Office is looking for 15-year-old Cheyanne McCaslin.
McCaslin lives in the 100 block of Johnson Drive in Glenaire, Mo. She attended school at Discovery Middle School in Liberty on April 28, to include after-school activities. She was absent on April 29, which is when she was reported missing. On the same day, she was captured on video at 6:47 a.m. walking in a neighborhood near her own. She was wearing black shorts with a gray hooded sweatshirt with a Liberty Blue Jay logo on it, and she was carrying a sunflower-printed backpack. She left her phone at home.
McCaslin is 4'11 tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds. She has glasses and long, light brown hair.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an Endangered Person Advisory for Cheyanne McCaslin on April 30. This can be issued when there is concern for a missing person’s well-being due to their age or other factors, but the circumstances fail to meet the criteria for an AMBER Alert. There is currently no evidence in this case that Cheyanne was kidnapped.
